Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months of related restaurant experience or training
  • Ability to follow instructions and food safety protocols
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • One or three months of related restaurant experience or training
  • Previous knife-handling experience a plus
  • Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required
  • Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen preferred
  • Ability to speak read and understand the primary language of the work location

Job Duties

  • Prep and execute all menu items including seasonal and specials for dine-in and to-go by LPQ standards
  • Keep all restaurant areas clean and organized following cleaning checklists
  • Assist with cleaning dishes and kitchen equipment
  • Assist Kitchen Manager in maintaining proper food par levels using prep sheets
  • Conduct line checks for quality control
  • Use proper tools equipment and ingredients for each menu item
  • Follow all opening mid and closing procedures as directed by checklists and Kitchen Manager
  • Follow and complete Le Pain Quotidien cleaning and food safety checklists to ensure proper food handling
