Job Description

Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is a premier all-suite hotel located in the serene desert landscape of Phoenix's North Mountain. Known for its luxurious amenities, the resort offers guests an unforgettable holiday experience with a variety of enjoyable activities and exceptional dining options. Central to the resort's appeal is the Falls Water Village, an expansive 3-acre swimming area featuring waterfalls and a thrilling 150-foot waterslide, designed for family fun. Guests can unwind in private cabanas while enjoying refreshing beverages at the Cascades Cafe, making the resort a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement.

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will be the creative mind and operational leader behind all culinary efforts at the resort. Your responsibilities will span from crafting exquisite menus that highlight the finest ingredients to overseeing the kitchen's day-to-day operations, ensuring that every dish served meets the highest standards of quality and consistency. This position demands not only culinary expertise but also strong leadership skills to inspire and manage the kitchen team effectively.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience as a sous chef or 1-3 years as chef de cuisine in quality restaurants
  • Certified Food Manager certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in the workplace's primary language
  • Skilled in kitchen operations including safe equipment use and food preparation
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
  • Proficient in critical thinking, decision-making, basic math, computer tasks, and teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
