- Experience with inventory and labor cost management
Job Duties
- Prepares beverages requested by customers or servers according to standard operating procedures
- Maintains clean and organized work areas to maximize efficiency
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner
- Performs pre and post-shift side work including stock service station and coffee making
- Inspects Starbucks facility daily to ensure quality food, presentation, cleanliness and completion of side work
- Assists Department Head/General Manager in training Barista personnel
- Assists with scheduling associates and managing labor costs
- Participates in monthly inventories and initiates programs to reduce breakage and loss
- Assists in recruitment using company hiring standards
- Conducts pre-shift meetings to prepare staff
- Assists in developing and implementing Food and Beverage promotions
- Ensures beverage costs meet budget
- Maintains professional appearance and service standards
