  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures for beverage preparation
  • Experience with inventory and labor cost management

Job Duties

  • Prepares beverages requested by customers or servers according to standard operating procedures
  • Maintains clean and organized work areas to maximize efficiency
  • Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner
  • Performs pre and post-shift side work including stock service station and coffee making
  • Inspects Starbucks facility daily to ensure quality food, presentation, cleanliness and completion of side work
  • Assists Department Head/General Manager in training Barista personnel
  • Assists with scheduling associates and managing labor costs
  • Participates in monthly inventories and initiates programs to reduce breakage and loss
  • Assists in recruitment using company hiring standards
  • Conducts pre-shift meetings to prepare staff
  • Assists in developing and implementing Food and Beverage promotions
  • Ensures beverage costs meet budget
  • Maintains professional appearance and service standards
