Job Description

Hilton Knoxville is a prestigious hotel situated in the bustling heart of downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. This prime location offers close proximity to major landmarks including Neyland Stadium, World’s Fair Park, and the University of Tennessee, making it a preferred destination for business travelers, university visitors, and attendees of local events. Hilton Knoxville boasts diverse amenities designed to enhance guests’ stay, such as a luxurious rooftop pool, an on-site Starbucks for convenient coffee breaks, and direct access to the Knoxville Convention Center via a covered skybridge. These features contribute to a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere providing both comfort and convenience to all visitors.

As a hotel that thrives on delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, Hilton Knoxville prides itself on fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace where team members are encouraged to engage with guests and one another enthusiastically and professionally. This helps to maintain the property’s reputation as a premier hospitality destination in the region.

The Front Desk Lead is a vital role within Hilton Knoxville’s operations, serving as a central point of contact for both guests and associates when it comes to complex queries or special service projects related to Front Desk Services. This position not only involves operational responsibilities as a Front Desk Agent—such as greeting and registering guests, processing reservations, and handling check-outs—but also extends to leadership duties including training and mentoring new Front Desk Agents. The role demands a commitment to outstanding guest service, ensuring that every guest interaction is handled with courtesy, efficiency, and professionalism throughout their stay.

The Front Desk Lead focuses on driving excellence in customer service, maximizing room revenue through proper reservation handling, and supporting front desk team members in resolving challenges and providing guidance. This requires a strong knowledge of hotel policies, hospitality terminology, and guest service standards, as well as an ability to multi-task, solve problems quickly, and maintain composure in high-pressure situations. Maintaining effective communication with all hotel departments to support smooth front desk operations is also a key responsibility.

This position offers a full-time employment opportunity with a competitive salary and a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and more. Employees are also eligible for innovative compensation options such as daily pay. Working at Hilton Knoxville promises an engaging career in a welcoming and central urban setting, offering both professional growth and the chance to contribute to a seamless guest experience in a leading hospitality environment.
