Job Description
Hilton is a globally recognized hotel brand known for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences through superior service and well-maintained accommodations. As a leader in the hospitality industry, Hilton operates a wide network of hotels, lodging establishments, and resorts across the world. The company emphasizes quality, cleanliness, comfort, and customer satisfaction in every aspect of its operations.
Hilton is currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers or Room Attendants to join their team. These roles are critical for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation that Hilton guests expect. Housekeepers are responsible for ensuring guest rooms and common hotel areas are spotless, comfortable, and ready for incoming guests. Typical duties include cleaning guest rooms, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, replenishing towels and toiletries, and managing trash removal. In addition to these tasks, housekeepers are required to restock housekeeping carts and maintain cleaning equipment efficiently.
Employees play a vital role in upholding Hilton's brand standards relating to housekeeping and guest room preparations. They must ensure that every corner of the guest rooms meets Hilton’s cleanliness guidelines and report any maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department. Housekeepers also sometimes handle guest requests, providing friendly and responsive service that contributes to a positive guest experience.
This position typically offers hourly pay ranging from $15 to $24, depending on the location and individual hotel. There are opportunities for additional compensation through overtime, weekend pay, holiday pay, and performance-based bonuses. Housekeepers usually have a quota to complete a set number of rooms per shift while also attending to deep cleaning tasks when scheduled. Beyond their core responsibilities, they may help clean hallways and public areas and organize and stock housekeeping carts for the team’s efficiency.
Hilton provides robust safety guidelines and cleaning procedures all employees must follow to maintain hotel service standards. Full-time employees may gain eligibility for various benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company matching, paid time off, hotel employee discounts, tuition assistance programs, and career advancement opportunities into supervisory and management positions. Some locations offer attendance bonuses, room completion bonuses, and shift differential pay, enhancing total compensation and recognizing employees’ hard work and dedication.
Working as a Housekeeper or Room Attendant at Hilton offers not only competitive pay but also a stable work environment within a reputable and globally respected hospitality brand. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are detail-focused, reliable, and enjoy contributing to exceptional guest experiences through thorough cleaning and maintenance practices.
