As one of the leading hotel chains, Hilton offers a wide range of opportunities in various roles within the hospitality industry, including housekeeping, food and beverage, front desk operations, management, and more. With a strong brand reputation and dedication to employee growth, Hilton fosters a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professionalism, and excellent customer care. The company is renowned for its focus on quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction, making it a preferred employer for individuals seeking to build a career in hospitality. Hilton also places emphasis on diversity and inclusion, ensuring a supportive and welcoming workplace for all employees.

The role of Housekeeper / Room Attendant at Hilton is vital to maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public hotel areas. Housekeepers are tasked with ensuring each guest room meets Hilton's stringent cleanliness and brand standards, providing a welcoming environment for guests arriving at the hotel. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms thoroughly by making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, replenishing towels and toiletries, and removing trash. Additionally, housekeepers must restock housekeeping carts to ensure all necessary supplies are on hand throughout their shifts.

In this position, employees are expected to complete a set number of rooms per shift and perform deep cleaning tasks when required to uphold the hotel’s high standards. Housekeepers may also be responsible for cleaning hallways, organizing their carts, maintaining cleaning equipment properly, and responding promptly to guest requests or reporting maintenance issues to the appropriate departments. Hilton values safety and requires all housekeepers to follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

Housekeepers are paid competitively, with hourly rates typically ranging from $15 to $24 depending on location and hotel. Compensation may include opportunities for overtime pay, weekend pay, holiday pay, and performance-based bonuses, enhancing earning potential. This role is generally full-time and offers various benefits for eligible employees, such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company match, paid time off, employee hotel discounts, and tuition assistance programs. Hilton also provides clear pathways for career advancement, with opportunities to move into roles such as Housekeeping Supervisor or other hotel management positions.

Working at Hilton as a housekeeper is not only about maintaining cleanliness but also about contributing to a memorable guest experience. Employees are encouraged to take pride in their work, demonstrate attention to detail, and display a friendly, service-oriented attitude.
