This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and hotel common areas, ensuring that each space meets Hilton’s rigorous cleanliness and brand standards. Housekeepers play a critical role in delivering a positive guest experience by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, making beds, changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, replenishing towels and toiletries, removing trash, and restocking housekeeping carts efficiently. The position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and hygiene protocols as outlined in Hilton’s cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
Housekeepers are also responsible for responding promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping needs and reporting any maintenance issues to ensure uninterrupted guest satisfaction. The role often involves completing a set number of rooms per shift and performing deep cleaning tasks as assigned. Additionally, housekeepers may be asked to clean hallways, organize and maintain housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment to uphold the hotel’s cleanliness standards across all areas.
This position typically offers an hourly wage ranging from $15 to $24, complemented with opportunities for overtime pay, weekend and holiday pay, as well as performance-based bonuses which may vary by hotel location and operational needs. Job Requirements

- previous experience in housekeeping or related cleaning roles preferred
- ability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
