Job Description

As a leader in the hotel industry, Hilton operates a diverse portfolio of properties worldwide, providing memorable stays for millions of guests annually. The brand is synonymous with quality, comfort, and outstanding customer service, making it a preferred choice for both leisure and business travelers. Hilton places great emphasis on maintaining high standards across all its properties and prides itself on creating welcoming environments and delivering excellent guest experiences.

The role of Housekeeper / Room Attendant at Hilton is crucial in upholding the company’s reputation for cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Housekeepers are responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and hotel areas maintain impeccable appearance and hygiene standards consistent with Hilton’s brand requirements. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks such as making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming floors, dusting furniture, replenishing towels and toiletries, removing trash, and restocking housekeeping carts. Housekeepers play a key role in getting rooms ready for arriving guests, which directly impacts the overall guest experience.

This role demands attention to detail, stamina, and teamwork, as housekeepers typically manage a set number of rooms per shift and are often required to perform deep cleaning tasks. In addition to cleaning rooms, housekeepers may also assist with cleaning hallways, organizing cleaning equipment, and responding promptly to guest requests or concerns. Reporting maintenance issues promptly ensures that the hotel environment remains safe and comfortable for all guests.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15 to $24, with additional opportunities to earn overtime pay, weekend pay, holiday pay, and performance-based bonuses depending on the hotel location. Full-time employees in this role can take advantage of a comprehensive benefits package that often includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company match, paid time off, and employee discounts at Hilton properties. Hilton also invests in employee growth and development, providing tuition assistance programs and clear pathways for advancement, such as promotions to Housekeeping Supervisor or other hotel management roles. Certain hotels may offer further incentives including attendance bonuses, room quota bonuses, and shift differential pay.

Working as a Housekeeper / Room Attendant at Hilton means becoming part of a dynamic team committed to exceptional service and upholding the highest cleanliness standards. It’s an opportunity to contribute to a respected global brand while enjoying robust employee benefits and room for career progression. Hilton’s dedication to employee well-being and professional growth makes it an ideal workplace for individuals seeking a rewarding role in hospitality housekeeping.
