Job Description
Hilton is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences through high standards of service and quality. As a well-established hotel brand with properties in multiple locations worldwide, Hilton provides a diverse and dynamic work environment that fosters professional growth and values employee contributions. The company is dedicated to maintaining its reputation by ensuring every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay at their hotels. Hilton continually invests in its team members, offering comprehensive training programs, competitive salaries, and attractive benefits to support individual career development and satisfaction.
Hilton is currently seeking dedicated Housekeepers / Room Attendants to join their housekeeping team. This role is pivotal in upholding the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and public hotel areas, ensuring that spaces meet Hilton's stringent brand standards. Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, which includes tasks such as making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, vacuuming floors, replenishing towels and toiletries, removing trash, and restocking housekeeping carts. Beyond the routine cleaning tasks, Housekeepers are also expected to respond to guest requests promptly and report any maintenance issues to the relevant departments to enhance guest satisfaction.
This position offers a competitive pay range of $15 to $24 per hour, with additional compensation opportunities such as overtime pay, weekend pay, holiday pay, and performance-based bonuses—conditions vary depending on the hotel location. Typical daily responsibilities for a Housekeeper include completing a predetermined number of rooms per shift, performing deep cleaning and detailed sanitation when necessary, and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment. Housekeepers may also be tasked with cleaning hotel hallways as assigned. Compliance with Hilton's cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and hotel service standards is mandatory to ensure a safe and high-quality environment for both guests and staff.
Hilton supports its full-time employees with a robust benefits package that may include health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans with company matching, paid time off, employee hotel discounts, and tuition assistance programs. There are also clear pathways for career advancement within the hotel, offering dedicated employees the opportunity to progress into supervisory roles such as Housekeeping Supervisor or broader hotel management positions. Some Hilton properties further incentivize employee performance with attendance bonuses, room quota bonuses, and shift differential pay for working less desirable hours.
Working as a Housekeeper at Hilton means becoming part of a respected and supportive organization committed to excellence and employee well-being. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a passion for hospitality. If you are eager to contribute to one of the world's premier hospitality companies and develop your career in a vibrant hotel environment, Hilton offers an excellent platform to achieve your goals while providing outstanding service to guests worldwide.
