Job Description
Hilton is a world-renowned hospitality company known for delivering exceptional guest experiences across its global portfolio of hotels and resorts. With a commitment to quality, service, and innovation, Hilton has established itself as a leader in the hotel industry, operating various brands that cater to diverse travelers. The company emphasizes creating welcoming and comfortable environments where guests can feel at home and enjoy outstanding service. As part of its focus on guest satisfaction, Hilton prioritizes cleanliness and maintenance of its properties to uphold brand standards and ensure every stay is memorable.
Hilton is currently seeking dedicated Housekeepers / Room Attendants to join its team. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and other hotel areas. Housekeepers ensure guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned, beds are made, linens are changed, bathrooms are sanitized, floors are vacuumed, furniture is dusted, towels and toiletries are replenished, trash is removed, and housekeeping carts are restocked. The position requires a strong attention to detail to make sure that every room meets Hilton's high cleanliness and brand standards, providing guests with a fresh, tidy, and inviting atmosphere upon their arrival.
This role typically pays between $15 to $24 per hour, with additional earning opportunities through overtime, weekend, and holiday pay, as well as performance-based bonuses that vary depending on the hotel location. Housekeepers are expected to complete a specific number of rooms during each shift and may also perform deep cleaning tasks as necessary. Responsibilities extend to organizing and maintaining housekeeping carts, replacing linens consistently, cleaning hallways when assigned, and ensuring cleaning equipment is properly used and cared for.
Safety and service quality are critical in this role, as employees must adhere to Hilton's cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a secure environment for themselves, their colleagues, and hotel guests. The position may also involve responding to guest requests promptly and reporting any maintenance issues to ensure swift resolution. Full-time housekeepers may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid time off, employee hotel discounts, tuition assistance programs, and career advancement opportunities into supervisory or management positions. Some Hilton hotels also offer attendance bonuses, room quotas bonuses, and shift differential pay.
Joining the Hilton housekeeping team means becoming part of a respected, global organization where teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to excellence are highly valued. The position offers a foundation for those interested in building a career in hospitality, providing hands-on experience in maintaining hotel operations and delivering superior guest service.
