Responsible for cleaning assigned rooms, making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, vacuuming floors, replenishing towels and guest amenities, removing trash, and restocking the housekeeping cart, the Housekeeper plays a vital role in the daily operations of the hotel.
The position requires a physical commitment, as it involves standing, bending, lifting, and pushing carts throughout the work shift. Efficient time management and the ability to meet daily room quotas are crucial for success in this role. Housekeepers also respond to guest requests promptly and perform deep-cleaning tasks as needed to ensure that every room is properly prepared for arriving guests. Hilton offers competitive pay ranging typically from $16 to $35 per hour, with an average pay around $16 per hour, depending on location, experience, and hotel size.
