Job Description

Hilton is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, renowned for its commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining top-tier standards across its extensive portfolio of hotels and resorts. With a reputation built over decades, Hilton has positioned itself as a premier hotel brand that caters to both business and leisure travelers seeking comfort, luxury, and outstanding service. Hilton's dedication to quality is reflected in every aspect of its operations, from meticulously maintained properties to a highly trained and guest-focused staff. As part of its ongoing efforts to uphold these standards, Hilton seeks Housekeepers / Room Attendants who play a crucial role in preserving the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of guest rooms and hotel areas in strict adherence to Hilton's brand standards. This role is essential in ensuring that each guest’s stay is comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable, contributing directly to the hotel's reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.

The role of a Housekeeper / Room Attendant at Hilton involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at maintaining cleanliness and order in guest rooms and public spaces. Successful candidates will be responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms thoroughly, which includes making beds, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting furniture, vacuuming floors, replenishing towels and guest amenities, removing trash, and restocking the housekeeping cart daily. Additionally, this position requires responding promptly to guest requests, performing deep cleaning tasks as needed, and ensuring that all rooms are properly prepared and presented for arriving guests. Given the physical nature of the work, the role demands standing, bending, lifting, and pushing carts throughout the shift, all while working efficiently to meet daily room quotas without compromising quality. This position is typically compensated between $16 and $35 per hour, with an average wage near $16 per hour depending on factors such as location, experience, and hotel size. Some Hilton locations also offer overtime opportunities as well as weekend and holiday pay premiums, enhancing earning potential. Full-time employees are often eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) plans with company match, paid time off, employee hotel discounts, employee stock purchase plans, and tuition assistance programs. Certain Hilton properties, particularly those in larger metropolitan areas or union-affiliated hotels, may provide additional compensation features like higher wages, attendance bonuses, or performance incentives. Overall, this role offers a meaningful career opportunity within a prestigious global hospitality brand, ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy contributing to a hotel environment that guests will appreciate and remember.
