With a strong emphasis on customer service and operational efficiency, Hilton continues to set the benchmark for quality in the hotel industry worldwide.
Hilton is currently seeking dedicated Housekeepers / Room Attendants to join its team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall aesthetic appeal of guest rooms and hotel areas, ensuring they meet Hilton brand standards. Housekeepers are responsible for various tasks including cleaning assigned guest rooms, making beds, changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting furniture, vacuuming floors, replenishing towels and guest amenities, removing trash, and restocking housekeeping carts daily. In addition, they respond to guest requests promptly and perform deep cleaning tasks as needed to ensure the highest level of cleanliness. The position requires physical stamina as it involves standing, bending, lifting, and pushing carts throughout the shift, alongside working efficiently to meet daily room quotas.
This is a full-time position that generally offers pay ranging from $16 to $35 per hour, with the average wage hovering around $16 per hour. Compensation varies depending on factors such as hotel location, the individual's level of experience, and hotel size. Moreover, some Hilton locations provide additional financial incentives including overtime opportunities, weekend and holiday pay premiums, attendance bonuses, and performance incentives, especially in larger cities or unionized hotels. Full-time employees are often eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) plans with company match, paid time off, employee hotel discounts, employee stock purchase plans, and tuition assistance programs. This robust offer reflects Hilton’s commitment to supporting its workforce and fostering a positive and rewarding work environment.
Working as a Housekeeper / Room Attendant at Hilton not only provides the opportunity to be part of a prestigious brand but also offers personal growth and development within the hospitality sector. Employees gain valuable experience in hotel operations, guest service, and facility upkeep, which can pave the way for career advancement within Hilton or the larger hospitality industry. Overall, this role is perfect for individuals who are detail-oriented, enjoy physical work, take pride in maintaining clean and inviting spaces, and are passionate about contributing to a superior guest experience at one of the world’s leading hotel companies.
