The Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles is currently seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to join their leadership team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a sales and marketing expert passionate about driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and leading a motivated team. Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred
  • or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience
  • or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience
  • valid driver's license in the applicable state
  • highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to negotiate, sell, and influence
  • thorough experience with professional selling skills including opening, probing, supporting, and closing
  • strong analytical skills and strategic vision
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • strong organization and presentation skills
  • demonstrated ability to manage and interact with people of diverse backgrounds
  • advanced knowledge of sales, marketing, and hospitality principles
  • ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure

Job Duties

  • Cast creative spells to fill rooms and boost revenue
  • assemble, train, mentor, and inspire the sales team

  • collaborate with all hotel departments and support the General Manager
  • manage sales strategies and negotiate contracts
