The role of a Hiker/Parking Attendant at InterPark is crucial to maintaining the smooth flow of vehicle traffic within the parking facility. This position involves expertly parking customer vehicles upon entry and promptly retrieving them when customers exit. Attendants work under demanding conditions that require driving skills for both automatic and manual transmission cars, often maneuvering vehicles in confined, underground garages or on steep parking ramps. The role demands vigilance, an understanding of safety protocols, and a proactive approach to identifying and reporting hazards or suspicious activities to management. Hiker/Parking Attendants also provide frontline customer service by addressing customer questions, problems, or complaints efficiently and courteously. Additional duties may include assisting customers in and out of vehicles, performing light maintenance or cashier tasks, and operating equipment such as man lifts, depending on location needs.

This full-time position offers a night-shift schedule from Thursday to Sunday, 11 pm to 7 am, in the Philadelphia, PA area. It demands physical stamina as attendants must endure standing for extended periods and walking or moving rapidly to assist customers. The role requires employees to work outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions, and to uphold a high standard of safety and customer service throughout each shift.
