InterPark Holdings Inc. is North America's premier owner, operator, and developer of parking facilities. The company stands out in the industry with its extensive ownership and operational expertise, ensuring a superior parking experience for its customers through two main brands, InterPark and PreFlight. InterPark Holdings combines advanced technology like garage access systems, payment processing, and security measures with leading-edge point-of-sale support systems. This strategic integration places the organization at the forefront of managing highly complex and high-volume parking properties across North America. As a forward-thinking company, InterPark Holdings is committed to delivering excellent service and constantly improving its parking solutions to meet the evolving needs of customers in various urban and airport settings.
As an established leader in the parking industry, InterPark Holdings prioritizes fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment. The organization is continuously seeking enthusiastic and qualified candidates eager to develop their careers and grow with the company. InterPark Holdings offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, recognizing the value of its team members and encouraging a positive workplace culture.
The role of a Hiker/Parking Attendant at InterPark Holdings is integral to maintaining the smooth operation of parking facilities. This position requires individuals who are adept at handling vehicles safely and efficiently in a variety of settings, including underground garages, surface lots, and steep parking ramps. The attendant’s key responsibility is to park customer vehicles upon entry and retrieve them promptly upon exit, ensuring an optimal flow of traffic and a positive customer experience.
A hiker/parking attendant must possess strong driving skills for both automatic and manual transmission vehicles, as well as the ability to perform duties with high attention to safety and security. Beyond driving, the role involves vigilance for any unusual or potentially threatening activities, with a responsibility to report such incidents to management immediately. The attendant also provides outstanding customer service by responding quickly and effectively to customer questions, concerns, and requests. Additional duties may include assisting customers with vehicle entry and exit, performing cashier tasks, and conducting light maintenance on the parking facility. In some locations, attendants may also be required to operate man lifts.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment serving a high volume of customers, where time management, communication skills, and a positive attitude are essential. The role demands physical stamina as attendants will often stand for extended periods, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and be ready to move quickly to assist customers or address garage issues. The schedule for this position typically includes evening shifts from Thursday through Sunday, which offers candidates flexibility in their work life balance.
InterPark Holdings values a team-oriented approach and the safety of both employees and customers. The company provides thorough training in safety and security protocols to ensure that its parking attendants are well-prepared to handle their responsibilities. If you are looking for a role that combines customer service, driving skills, and a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth, the Hiker/Parking Attendant position at InterPark Holdings is an excellent choice.
