Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years bartending experience in high-volume or fast-paced environments
  • strong knowledge of cocktail recipes bartending techniques and various types of alcohol
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
  • positive and energetic attitude with a passion for hospitality
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • must meet legal drinking age requirements
  • availability to work nights weekends and holidays
  • preferably hold ServSafe Alcohol certification or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including specialty cocktails beer and wine
  • provide exceptional service to guests ensuring all orders are accurately prepared and delivered promptly
  • manage a high-volume bar environment ensuring drink orders are made quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality
  • engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner offering recommendations and ensuring their needs are met
  • maintain a clean and organized bar area including washing glassware restocking supplies and cleaning surfaces
  • ensure the bar is properly stocked with alcohol mixers garnishes and other supplies and communicate any inventory needs to management
  • handle cash process payments and keep track of tabs in an accurate and timely manner
  • adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines monitoring guests alcohol consumption and ensuring compliance with legal drinking age regulations
  • train and mentor junior bartenders or barbacks helping them develop their skills and maintaining team morale
  • ensure compliance with all health safety and sanitation regulations
  • collaborate with other bar staff kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operation and an excellent guest experience
  • manage bar opening and closing duties including restocking cleaning and prepping for the next shift
  • resolve any customer issues or complaints in a friendly and efficient manner
