Job Requirements
- Be of legal age to serve alcohol
- physically fit and able to stand for long periods
- able to lift and handle objects up to 50 pounds
- flexible to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- meet local food and alcohol service regulations
- possess a good grasp of reading, writing, and basic math
- fluent in the local language
- able to communicate warmly and articulately
Job Qualifications
- Formal bartending training or equivalent experience
- ability to prepare a wide range of drinks
- good communication skills
- fluency in the local language
- knowledge of local laws on food handling and alcohol service
- strong customer service orientation
- basic literacy including reading, writing, and math
- experience working in hospitality or a similar environment
Job Duties
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for every guest
- prepare and serve drinks to high standards and promote specials
- collaborate with restaurant staff to provide seamless food service
- set up the bar including stocking supplies and managing inventory
- change beer barrels
- maintain cleanliness and security of the bar and alcohol stocks
- handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- wear uniform with pride and maintain professional appearance
- assist colleagues with ad-hoc duties as needed
- comply with all safety procedures
