The Fabrication Coordinator role at Hanger, Inc. is a crucial position within the facility, tasked with supporting operational efficiency and ensuring seamless coordination among various teams. The Fabrication Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining operational dashboards to measure and report on performance, facilitating annual core training for staff, managing the Gemba schedule, tracking attendance, and assisting in the organization of events and seminars. This role also contributes directly to the fabrication department on occasion by assisting with device fabrication.

In this position, the coordinator supports leadership by aiding in onboarding new hires and managing communication flow within the department. They help in receiving and screening customer service communications, resolving inquiries, and fostering strong relationships with internal clinical customers by proactively addressing potential issues. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Job Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment (organize, multi-task & prioritize, while keeping a focus on short- and long-term objectives)
  • Detail oriented and high level of accuracy to meet deadlines
  • Ability to organize events, coordinating many factors for successful execution
  • Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Facilitate completion of operational dashboards for performance measuring and reporting
  • Assist leadership in supporting new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Track and facilitate annual core training for all staff
  • Coordinate and organize seminars and meetings
  • Support, create, and administer employee recognition initiatives
  • Support meetings (schedule invites, distribute minutes, etc.)
  • Assist with ordering supplies and maintaining inventory control based on operational standards
  • Provide support to fabrication department as needed (e.g., occasionally fabricate devices)
  • Assist leadership in receiving and screening incoming customer service communications, answering questions, researching and resolving problems and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist the team by initiating contact with internal customers (Clinicians) and assisting with improving relationships by identifying potential issues before they arise
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Scheduling entries of incoming work as well as closing them at the end of the workday
