This role as a Territory Sales Associate is essential for maintaining and expanding Hershey's retail presence by ensuring the flawless execution of merchandising strategies. This position is classified as continuous part-time, offering flexible scheduling between 20 to 25 hours per week, with workdays primarily overlapping core business hours Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Compensation for this role ranges from $15.50 to $18.50 per hour, reflecting factors like individual experience, skills, and geographic location.
As a TSA, you will represent Hershey’s iconic brands by building strong retailer relationships, selling and maintaining 100% distribution of authorized Hershey products within your assigned territory. Your role is located within designated zip codes around Temecula, CA, and although remote, it requires daily travel up to approximately 55 miles using your personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursed at 62 cents per mile. You will manage multiple store visits daily, typically six to ten or more, to execute merchandising plans including the replenishment of permanent secondary displays and promotional items. This role demands a flexible and proactive individual comfortable adapting to changes in territory coverage and capable of using technology like tablets for reporting daily activities efficiently.

Job Requirements
- Must have a valid US state issued driver’s license
- Must have a personal vehicle in sound operating condition
- Must maintain personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of 100,000 dollars per person, 100,000 dollars per accident, and 100,000 dollars property damage allowing business use
- Must reside or be willing to commute within territory boundaries
- Must be able to drive long distances to make multiple sales calls daily
- Must be able to lift 10-40 lbs regularly with or without accommodations
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently with or without accommodations
- Must be able to use tablet technology
- Must have daily access to wireless internet
- Must have flexibility and adaptability to territory changes
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: 3-4 years food merchandising preferred but not required

Job Duties
- Sell and maintain 100 percent distribution of all authorized Hershey items in assigned territory
- Ensure flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans with retailers
- Achieve merchandising objectives through Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles
- Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions
- Submit daily activity reports using tablets
- Manage sales territory including retailer visits and territory coverage
