This opportunity is for a Part-Time Territory Sales Associate (TSA) located in the Oshkosh/Appleton, Wisconsin area. This role offers great flexibility with schedules typically spanning 20-25 hours per week. The TSA will work within specific ZIP code boundaries and must be willing to commute within the designated territory while maintaining excellent communication with store locations. The position is remote but requires regular travel between retail stores with mileage reimbursement provided at 62 cents per mile.

As a TSA, the main responsibilities revolve around maintaining 100% distribution of authorized Hershey products in the assigned territory. The associate will be instrumental in driving sales and merchandising efforts, ensuring the flawless execution of retail sales plans. This includes building and replenishing permanent secondary displays, increasing product distribution, and liaising with key retail decision makers. The role demands a professional who is relationship-focused and sales-driven, able to effectively represent some of the most exciting brands in America.

The work schedule is flexible to accommodate personal and territory needs but generally overlaps with core hours between 6:00am and 4:00pm from Monday to Friday. The TSA can expect to visit 6-10 or more accounts daily within the territory. Starting pay ranges from $15.50 to $17.50 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and location.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid US state issued driver’s license
  • Must have a personal vehicle in sound operating condition
  • Must maintain personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person/$100,000 per accident/$100,000 property damage and permit business use
  • Must reside or be willing to commute within specified territory zip codes
  • Must be able to drive long distances daily
  • Must be able to lift 10-40 lbs regularly
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop and demonstrate manual dexterity frequently
  • Must be able to use tablet technology
  • Must have daily access to wireless internet
  • Must have flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage
  • Availability to work 20-25 hours per week
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience: 3-4 years food merchandising preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Sell and maintain 100% distribution of authorized Hershey items in assigned territory
  • Ensure flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans
  • Achieve merchandising objectives through the use of permanent secondary displays and other display vehicles
  • Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions and administrative functions
  • Report daily activities using tablets upon completion of each day
  • Manage sales territory based on size, number of retailers, and location
  • Travel regularly to multiple store locations within assigned territory
