The role of Floor Supervisor at the Waterfront Beach Resort is vital in ensuring seamless Food and Beverage operations within the Pool Bar outlet. This supervisory position involves assisting bartenders, servers, food runners, barbacks, and other team members to uphold the highest standards of service. Job Requirements
- Minimum two years previous serving, bartending or other restaurant experience required
- Prior supervisory experience in food and beverage preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, grasp, push, pull frequently
- Capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to adhere to hotel security, fire, and health and safety regulations
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to attend mandatory meetings.
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Completes the daily tasks of a floor supervisor as it pertains to assisting bartenders, servers, food runners, barbacks and all other positions you can lend assistance
- Training of all new positions with 5-star service standards and ongoing training of the service staff to include periodic training topics on products, procedures, and service standards
- Address guest concerns and ensure a prompt resolution
- Supervise food and beverage pool bar outlet operations and quality
- Communicate and delegate tasks to the team
- Ensure compliance with brand standards
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist food and beverage management with achieving financial targets
- Assist food and beverage management with training and development of team members
- Assist with annual appraisals of team members under your responsibility
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
- Responsible for establishing partnerships with F&B management team
- Keep active spill sheets for all wasted beverages
- Conduct monthly inventory
- Serve as bartender trainer for new and existing staff and uphold bar standards with team
- Establish bar standards for liquor, beer, wine, soft beverage, barista and garnishes
- Implement all opening and closing checklists for staff and ensure standards are upheld
- Maintain open and frequent communication with the food and beverage outlet managers
- Develop a daily huddle and ensure daily participation
- Implement a bi-weekly cleaning schedule
- Enforce meal and rest breaks are taken at appropriate times
- Ensure that all operating equipment is in proper working order, and that equipment and supplies are sanitary and clean
- Develop a strategy to increase SALT scores and execute with staff
- Attend mandatory meetings including executive meetings, staff meetings, etc.
