Established with a vision to be recognized as a leader in safe, high-quality, and environmentally responsible infrastructure solutions, the company places a strong emphasis on serving its customers, developing its employees, giving back to the community, and securing a promising future for the organization. With a reputation for excellence and dedication to quality, C. A. Rasmussen, Inc. offers an enriching work environment where employees are valued as the greatest asset. This ethos is reflected in the company culture, benefits, and the commitment to employee growth and satisfaction.

The Heavy Equipment Hauler role at C. A. Rasmussen, Inc. is a full-time, dynamic position designed for highly motivated individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and possess confidence and proficiency in operating heavy equipment. The primary responsibility of this role involves the safe and efficient transportation of heavy equipment, materials, and tools through all phases of operation. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery, secure loading and unloading, and compliance with regulatory standards throughout the hauling process.

This position requires hands-on involvement in inspecting vehicles and trailers pre- and post-trip to meet Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) guidelines, operating vehicles in full compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) federal and state regulations, and managing loads that often include large motor graders, skid steers, bulldozers, loaders, and excavators. The Heavy Equipment Hauler will also be responsible for chaining and binding equipment securely, collaborating with dispatch on the most efficient delivery routes, and addressing minor vehicle maintenance tasks such as fueling, fluid checks, and basic repairs. Attention to detail is critical, especially in the recording and reporting of driver or customer damage, maintaining logs for trips and vehicle maintenance, and ensuring all trucks and trailers are clean, well-maintained, and properly equipped with valid licenses and inspections.

Working at C. A. Rasmussen, Inc. means thriving in an environment that acknowledges the challenges of outdoor and variable weather conditions, traffic, and diverse delivery locations. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with tie-down equipment like chains and straps to secure loads safely. The company prioritizes safety and compliance; therefore, candidates must be able to pass a DOT medical physical and hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.

Offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $30.00 to $32.00 based on experience, this position also features a comprehensive benefits package that underscores the company's commitment to employee well-being and financial security. Benefits include 100 percent employer-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage for employees and eligible dependents, a 401(k) retirement plan with full matching up to 4% of earnings, wellness programs, an employee assistance program, and additional perks such as paid time off and tuition reimbursement.

C. A. Rasmussen, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace free from discrimination and harassment of any kind.
