This opportunity is for a dynamic team-oriented individual to join Buffalo Wild Wings in a kitchen staff role responsible for preparing and producing a wide range of menu items. The role encompasses several specialized positions within the kitchen, including the Chip, Shake, Grill, Southwest, and Expo stations. Each station has specific responsibilities that contribute to the smooth operation and delivery of delicious, high-quality food.

The Chip Station involves the preparation of fried items such as chips, wedges, and onion rings with a focus on cleanliness and fryer maintenance. The Grill Station handles all grilled food preparations and ensures proper cooking and sanitation standards are met. The Shake Station oversees the proper handling and readiness of sauces, seasonings, and hot wing holding procedures to guarantee flavorful outcomes. The Southwest Station focuses on salads, wraps, and flatbreads, maintaining freshness and quality. The Expo Station is pivotal as the communication link between the kitchen and front of house, responsible for food presentation, quality assurance, and timely delivery.

Additional responsibilities include inventory preparation, portioning food items as per management's instructions, tracking waste according to company protocols, maintaining clean and sanitary workstations, assisting other stations during shift changes, and following safety and sanitation guidelines meticulously. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow directions closely, and a commitment to upholding Buffalo Wild Wings' standards for food quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Duties

  • Prep and portion food items according to the shift's needs
  • clean, sanitize, and store prep items properly
  • follow FIFO and FDIR procedures
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation at assigned stations
  • prepare fried chips, wedges, and onion rings in the Chip Station
  • manage fryer oil quality and fryer maintenance
  • prepare grilled items and maintain grill cleanliness in the Grill Station
  • ensure sauce pumps and seasoning buckets are clean and filled at the Shake Station
  • monitor hot wing holding drawers temperatures
  • prepare wraps, salads, and flatbreads in the Southwest Station
  • coordinate food presentation and order accuracy in the Expo Station
  • assist in station stocking and cleaning during shift changes
  • report equipment malfunctions to the Manager on Duty
  • follow safety, sanitation, and quality standards
  • support team members and help other stations as needed
  • perform additional duties as assigned
