The Resident Escort role at Grady's Crestview Health & Rehabilitation Center is critical in maintaining smooth and effective operations related to resident mobility and appointment coordination. This position involves providing reliable and prompt escort services, assisting residents during trips to medically related appointments outside the center, as well as transportation to functions or services within the facility. Beyond escort duties, the role includes managing the scheduling of medical appointments and coordinating transportation services to ensure timely and hassle-free experiences for residents. The Resident Escort may also be called upon to perform Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) duties, offering support with patient care and assistance as necessary. Ideal candidates will be certified CNAs with current CPR certification, trained in patient handling, movement, and body lifting techniques. The role demands a compassionate, well-organized individual capable of fostering a safe environment for vulnerable populations while effectively liaising with medical personnel and families. Grady's Crestview offers ongoing inservice training to maintain high standards in crisis management and patient care, supporting professional development and CNA recertification requirements. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nurse Aide with current certification
- Current CPR certification
- Experience or training in patient handling and body mechanics
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide rapid, dependable escort service for residents attending medically related appointments outside the center
- Escort residents to functions or services within the health and rehabilitation center
- Coordinate the scheduling of medical appointments for residents
- Arrange and manage transportation services ensuring timely arrivals and departures
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to resident care and service
- Perform duties as a Certified Nursing Assistant when required
- Participate in ongoing inservice training related to patient handling and crisis management
