Job Description
ChenMed is a rapidly growing, physician-led, family-owned healthcare company dedicated to transforming healthcare for seniors. The company’s unique approach focuses on improving the health and well-being of medically underserved, Medicare-eligible seniors aged 55 and older. With its compassionate model and strong commitment to patient care, ChenMed stands apart from traditional primary care providers by offering a membership-based healthcare model that emphasizes personalized attention and community involvement. As the healthcare landscape evolves, ChenMed continues to expand its footprint across the country to better serve senior populations by rescuing them from inadequate healthcare and providing them with superior primary care services. The company is known for fostering a supportive work environment that promotes career development, comprehensive benefits, and a great work-life balance for its employees. By joining ChenMed, team members become part of a mission-driven organization that truly changes lives, both for the patients they serve and their own colleagues.
The Membership Growth Consultant (MGC) position at ChenMed plays a critical role in this expansion and patient outreach mission. This is an outside healthcare sales representative role focused on generating new patient leads and driving enrollment growth through building and nurturing relationships within the senior community and key local business partners. The MGC serves as a primary ambassador of ChenMed’s value proposition, directly engaging with seniors, community centers, healthcare agents, and senior-focused businesses to educate them on the membership program advantages and healthcare model. As the first tier of the company’s growth career path, the MGC will develop the skills necessary to plan and orchestrate impactful community events, health fairs, and informational sessions designed to increase awareness and participation among Medicare eligible populations.
This role requires a highly motivated, entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong communication skills and a passion for serving senior citizens. The MGC is responsible for cultivating both direct-to-senior and business-to-business partnerships that result in sustained referral sales and ongoing patient engagement. The position demands skillful use of marketing and sales tools, including CRM software such as Salesforce, to efficiently manage leads and client information. MGCs also negotiate with vendors and coordinate events to foster community relationships and maximize new patient enrollments. Given the outdoor, event-based nature of the role, a willingness to travel locally and regionally up to 75 percent of the time is essential. The compensation range for this position is $38,509 to $55,013 annually, with the potential for bonuses or commissions based on performance.
Joining ChenMed as a Membership Growth Consultant offers an exciting career opportunity for those who are results-driven, resilient, and eager to make a difference in senior healthcare. The role promises continual professional development, meaningful work contributing to positive healthcare outcomes, and a supportive team environment that values integrity, honest communication, and customer-focused solutions. With ChenMed’s innovative healthcare model and dedication to senior patients, the MGC will be at the forefront of transforming primary care for seniors in their communities.
