The Healthcare Project Manager will be integral in leading complex healthcare construction projects from inception through completion. The role involves managing various aspects of construction including preconstruction planning, safety oversight, subcontractor management, stakeholder coordination, and financial administration. The successful candidate will ensure that projects comply with healthcare construction regulations such as Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) standards and meet quality, safety, and schedule expectations.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of construction project management experience with a general contractor
  • Proven expertise in healthcare construction projects
  • Strong understanding of ICRA protocols and healthcare construction standards preferred
  • Ability to read and manage construction documents and specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Availability to work in Columbus, Ohio
  • Permanent employment authorization in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience with a general contractor
  • Proven expertise in healthcare construction projects such as hospitals, medical facilities, or clinical environments
  • Strong understanding of ICRA protocols and healthcare construction standards
  • Ability to read, interpret, and manage all construction documents and specifications
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, systems, and skilled trades

Job Duties

  • Lead healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence
  • Foster and promote a proactive project safety culture across all job sites
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, bid packages, and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and hospital stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
  • Review subcontractor progress and lead regular project meetings to ensure milestones and goals are achieved
  • Oversee project financials including cost reporting, forecasting, contracts, and change management
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare construction regulations, including ICRA standards when applicable
