As a Healthcare Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for communication with patients, hospital staff, and guests to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of meal trays and floor stock. This includes recording special dietary orders, assisting in bedside meal set-up, and managing inventory in nourishment areas. The position requires attentiveness to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate technical equipment effectively. The work shifts are variable, with a preference for open availability to accommodate hospital operational needs. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock
  • Record the amount and type of special food
  • Deliver meal carts to patient units
  • Aid in the meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
  • Discard soiled trays
  • Take inventory of nourishment areas, stock when necessary and accurately operate technical equipment
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties assigned as needed based on business necessities and client requirements
