This includes effectively communicating meal orders, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of patient meals, and providing bedside meal setup while maintaining direct patient contact. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff
  • Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts including rotating weekends
  • Physical stamina to handle meal delivery and setup tasks
  • Punctuality and reliable attendance
  • Willingness to follow hospital and Sodexo policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • At least 0 to 1 year of related experience is beneficial

Job Duties

  • Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock
  • Record the amount and type of special food
  • Deliver meal carts to patient units
  • Aid in the meal setup at bedside with direct patient contact
  • Discard soiled trays
  • Take inventory of nourishment areas, stock when necessary and accurately operate technical equipment
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on client requirements and business necessities
