Your responsibilities include effective communication with hospital staff and patients to ensure timely and precise delivery of meal trays, setting up meals at the bedside while maintaining patient interaction, discarding soiled trays, and taking inventory of nourishment areas to keep them well-stocked. You will also be required to handle technical equipment related to meal delivery operations. This position demands reliability and punctuality, as you will be scheduled for varying shifts.   • 0-1 year of related experience preferred
  • Open availability for varying shifts
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals
  • Physical ability to deliver meal carts and perform tasks involving standing and walking

Job Duties

  • Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock
  • Record the amount and type of special food
  • Deliver meal carts to patient units
  • Aid in meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
  • Discard soiled trays
  • Take inventory of nourishment areas, stock when necessary and accurately operate technical equipment
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
