The role of Healthcare Host/Hostess at Sodexo, based at Corpus Christi Medical Center-Bay Area, offers a meaningful opportunity to be the welcoming face within a hospital environment. This is a part-time position with varying shifts, emphasizing open availability as preferred, paying between $14.00 and $14.39 per hour. The Healthcare Host/Hostess acts as an experience ambassador who plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient-centered service. This role involves direct interactions with patients, hospital staff, and guests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of meal trays and supplies. Responsibilities include communicating effectively to coordinate meal deliveries, recording special dietary food, responsible handling of meal carts, and maintaining nourishment areas through inventory and stocking duties. The host/hostess also aids in setting up meals at the bedside, engages with patients with empathy and professionalism, and disposes of soiled trays in a sanitary manner.
