The role of Healthcare Host/Hostess at Sodexo, based at Corpus Christi Medical Center-Bay Area, offers a meaningful opportunity to be the welcoming face within a hospital environment. This is a part-time position with varying shifts, emphasizing open availability as preferred, paying between $14.00 and $14.39 per hour. The Healthcare Host/Hostess acts as an experience ambassador who plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient-centered service. The host/hostess also aids in setting up meals at the bedside, engages with patients with empathy and professionalism, and disposes of soiled trays in a sanitary manner.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and guests
- Willingness to work varying shifts with open availability preferred
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to meal delivery

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock
- Record the amount and type of special food
- Deliver meal carts to patient units
- Aid in the meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
- Discard soiled trays
- Take inventory of nourishment areas, stock when necessary and accurately operate technical equipment
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
