Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work varying shifts with open availability preferred
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as needed
- Physical ability to deliver meal carts and assist with meal setup
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
- 0 - 1 year of related experience is beneficial
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, adaptable and reliable manner
- Basic knowledge of food service operations

- Ability to handle direct patient contact with compassion and professionalism
Job Duties
- Effectively communicate with patients, staff and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timelines of patient meal trays and floor stock
- Record the amount and type of special food
- Deliver meal carts to patient units
- Aid in the meal set-up at bedside with direct patient contact
- Discard soiled trays
- Take inventory of nourishment areas, stock when necessary and accurately operate technical equipment
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
