Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of culinary management experience
  • culinary degree preferred
  • ability to manage cost controls and expenditures
  • experience working in healthcare or acute care settings highly preferred
  • strong team leadership abilities
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in foodservice
  • ability to create and plan menus
  • excellent organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • 5+ years of culinary management experience
  • culinary experience in an acute care setting or healthcare highly preferred
  • experience in high volume production and catering
  • previous experience managing cost controls
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • desire to learn and grow within a foodservice company

Job Duties

  • Manage cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • plan and create all menus
  • purchase and manage inventory
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
  • oversee all culinary functions for a dining account in an acute care hospital
  • manage and lead a team of associates
  • ensure all safety and sanitation standards are met
