Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of culinary management experience
- culinary degree preferred
- ability to manage cost controls and expenditures
- experience working in healthcare or acute care settings highly preferred
- strong team leadership abilities
- knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in foodservice
- ability to create and plan menus
- excellent organizational and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree preferred
- 5+ years of culinary management experience
- culinary experience in an acute care setting or healthcare highly preferred
- experience in high volume production and catering
- previous experience managing cost controls
- strong leadership and team management skills
- desire to learn and grow within a foodservice company
Job Duties
- Manage cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- plan and create all menus
- purchase and manage inventory
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team
- oversee all culinary functions for a dining account in an acute care hospital
- manage and lead a team of associates
- ensure all safety and sanitation standards are met
