This position offers an excellent entry-level opportunity in healthcare at the 15 Craigside Health Care Center. As a Casual Hire, employees work less than 20 hours per week, predominantly over weekends with shifts from 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The hourly pay rate for this role ranges from $17.00 to $18.53. The primary responsibilities involve assisting the healthcare team with dining, housekeeping, clerical tasks, and other related services that contribute to the well-being and comfort of residents. The casual hire role offers a variety of duties including setting up dining rooms, serving meals in a family-style environment, assisting residents with ambulation, and monitoring vital health indicators such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates. More so, the position requires hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADL), companionship services, and assisting with maintaining a clean and safe environment.
