Job Description

Our organization is a dedicated health-focused nonprofit based in Hartford, CT, committed to improving community health outcomes through innovative programs and impactful advocacy. We work closely with diverse communities, healthcare professionals, and volunteers to deliver services and raise awareness about vital health issues. Recognized for fostering collaboration and embracing inclusive practices, our nonprofit is deeply invested in creating meaningful change and enhancing the quality of life for the populations we serve. With a keen focus on fundraising and community engagement, we strive to sustain and expand our outreach efforts through well-organized events and strategic partnerships.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Planning Coordinator to join our team. This key role involves the logistical coordination of our fundraising events — from initial planning stages to execution and post-event follow-up. The Event Planning Coordinator will manage data relating to attendees, track donations, and work closely with internal teams such as marketing, volunteer coordination, and donor relations to ensure seamless event flow and successful outcomes. This position requires a person with strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Occasional travel to support events is also a requirement, providing opportunities to engage with stakeholders and further our mission in various community settings. This is an exciting role for an individual passionate about event management who wants to make a positive impact on community health through their work.
