Job Description

Crane's Mill is a well-established community dedicated to providing exceptional care and a supportive environment for its residents and staff alike. Known for its warm, inviting atmosphere, Crane's Mill functions like a big family where coworkers treat each other with respect, cultivating a culture of compassion, teamwork, and encouragement. Employees often describe the workplace as a 'home away from home' where the team spirit and willingness to go the extra mile define the day-to-day experience, especially during emergencies or special resident events. This dedication to creating a nurturing and friendly environment makes Crane's Mill a standout among healthcare and senior living establishments.

Now, Crane's Mill is excited to offer a new full-time opportunity for a Health Center Coordinator. This critical role operates on-site from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a competitive hourly wage between $22 and $25 and robust benefits including paid time off. The Health Center Coordinator serves as the central figure in managing healthcare center staffing, maintaining the emergency call system, overseeing central and auxiliary supply rooms, and supporting various clerical tasks essential to the smooth operation of the Health Center. This position ensures that the facility's resources are well-managed and that residents receive excellent internal and external customer service, acting as a resident advocate and a reliable team member.

The Health Center Coordinator also upholds the mission and values of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey, which emphasizes service through compassion, spiritual strength, and responsiveness to those in need. Responsibilities include ordering and labeling inventory, managing purchase expenses, auditing invoices, and maintaining an organized and efficiently run work area. The Coordinator ensures all supplies, equipment, and staffing are adequately tracked and authorized, scheduling nursing staff according to administrative standards and facilitating employee procedures like distribution of paychecks and photo IDs. This role is paramount in supporting the healthcare team and promoting a safe, comfortable, and well-supplied environment for residents.

Joining Crane's Mill means becoming part of a compassionate and dedicated team that values making a difference each day through teamwork and encouragement. The employer offers excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, wellness programs, life insurance, disability coverage, retirement savings with a company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and additional perks such as pet insurance and identity theft protection. Flexible pay access reflects Crane's Mill's commitment to accommodating its employees’ needs and fostering an inclusive, supportive workplace. If you are motivated to contribute to a mission-driven organization and thrive in a collaborative setting, this opportunity at Crane's Mill will provide both a rewarding career and a welcoming community to grow with.
