The bank serves numerous communities including Bonners Ferry, Ponderay, Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Hailey, and Ketchum, providing vital financial services with a commitment to enhancing the communities it serves. Recognized repeatedly by Forbes and other organizations as one of America’s Best Banks and Employers, the bank fosters an environment where employees feel valued and supported.
The Mountain West Bank culture is distinctive for its emphasis on fun, family feel, and community involvement. Employees are not only appreciated daily but are given opportunities to grow professionally through robust training and generous 401(k) contributions. The bank encourages giving back to the community, even compensating employees for community volunteer work, illustrating their commitment to making their cities better places to live.
The role of Headquarters Concierge at Mountain West Bank represents a vital frontline position within their new Corporate Headquarters located in downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. This full-time position demands a warm, polished, and professional presence as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, business partners, and employees entering the headquarters. The Concierge delivers exceptional hospitality and administrative support by greeting and directing visitors, coordinating meeting rooms, and assisting with corporate events. In essence, the Concierge is charged with setting the tone for exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere throughout the bank’s headquarters.
This position involves a variety of duties that go beyond traditional front desk responsibilities. The Concierge will build relationships across departments, anticipate visitor needs, support colleagues, and ensure a seamless visitor experience that aligns with Mountain West Bank's culture and high service standards. The role requires multitasking in a fast-paced environment, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion. In addition to greeting and directing visitors, the Concierge will help coordinate conference room schedules, provide hospitality services during meetings and events, and support various company gatherings.
Mountain West Bank places a high value on the personal attributes of the Concierge, seeking a team player with strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience in office or secretarial roles enhances success in this position. The role expects regular, reliable attendance and the physical capability to perform desk work combined with some light lifting and ability to navigate stairs if necessary.
Comprehensive benefits accompany this role, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, 401(k) retirement and profit-sharing plans, an Employee Assistance Program, and generous paid time off and holidays. Salary varies with relevant experience and location. Mountain West Bank is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer that values diversity and inclusivity, encouraging candidates from all backgrounds to apply. The bank also notes that all applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and that they do not sponsor work visas. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a respected bank that values both its employees and community engagement while providing a dynamic, supportive work environment where individuals are empowered to succeed and grow.
