The role of Head Start Assistant Teacher at Easterseals is an exciting opportunity to join this mission-driven organization. Located at Marlboro Pike, this full-time position reports to the Senior Director of Head Start and is classified as non-exempt under the FLSA. The Assistant Teacher will play a vital role in supporting classroom operations designed to enrich the lives of children from six weeks to five years old. This position is essential in creating an inclusive, nurturing, and safe environment that promotes the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth of the children. At Easterseals, the Assistant Teacher collaborates with the teaching team to design engaging and developmentally appropriate classroom activities aligned with both Easterseals and NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) guidelines.
