Job Description

Palisociety is a fully integrated hospitality company renowned for developing and operating unique hotels and residences across the United States. Established in 1998 by CEO Avi Brosh, this family-owned business is headquartered in Los Angeles and has built a reputation for delivering one-of-a-kind, neighborhood-centric experiences that inspire and delight guests and local communities alike. The company's diverse portfolio includes its independent collection of boutique hotels alongside branded properties such as Palihouses, Palihotels, and ARRIVE by Palisociety. Focused on fostering vibrant environments, Palisociety prides itself on creating welcoming spaces filled with interesting people, friendly staff, and dependable service. With ongoing expansion plans bringing new hotels and restaurants online across multiple cities, Palisociety is committed to nurturing talented, passionate individuals who thrive in a collaborative, fast-growing environment.

One of Palisociety's signature properties is ARRIVE Albuquerque, located along the historic Route 66 in Downtown Albuquerque. This beautifully renovated and stylishly modern boutique hotel originally opened in 1965 as the Downtowner Motor Inn. Featuring 137 comfortable guest rooms, the hotel blends modern Southwestern-inspired charm with contemporary amenities such as Bellino Fine Linens, Grown Alchemist bath products, plush robes, and Marshall Bluetooth speakers. ARRIVE Albuquerque also offers guests a taste of exceptional dining and cocktail experiences at the DWTNR Cocktail Bar & Lounge, which serves a creative fusion of Pan Asian-American dishes and classic Americana comfort food. The hotel boasts a seasonal poolside oasis where tropical drinks and light bites can be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere.

The Sales Manager role at ARRIVE Albuquerque is a pivotal leadership position responsible for maximizing hotel revenue through strategic sales and reservation management. As the Sales Manager, you will oversee daily sales activities and guest room reservations, driving occupancy and average daily rate (ADR) growth to meet profit objectives. This role requires a focus on building long-term, value-based client relationships, ensuring seamless group stays, and supporting a broad range of operational needs including catering and event-related business. Collaborating closely with the Director of Sales and the corporate team, you will develop and implement effective sales strategies and manage key accounts while identifying new business growth opportunities. The position demands a comprehensive understanding of revenue management, market intelligence, and sales revenue strategies.

You will be tasked with managing room blocks, handling group contracts, qualifying leads, and maintaining a trace system for customer profiles to deliver superior account service. Excellent client communication skills are essential to fostering strong customer relationships and meeting monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as set by the Managing Director of Sales. The Sales Manager also participates actively in community and industry organizations and represents Palisociety at trade shows and client appointments. Leadership qualities are vital, as you will set an example by staying visible and accessible to your team, promoting open communication, and embodying the brand's core values.

This role requires at least two years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a lifestyle boutique hotel setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office are necessary. The position involves some physical tasks such as sitting for extended periods and using phones and computers. Palisociety offers a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, holiday and sick pay, along with opportunities for career advancement and professional development in a collaborative and nurturing work environment. Employees benefit from significant discounts on hotels and dining across Palisociety's expanding hotel and restaurant portfolio.
