Job Description
On is a premium global retail brand known for its innovative and high-performance footwear and apparel, committed to driving growth and progress while fostering a supportive, team-oriented culture. As a forward-thinking omnichannel company, On focuses on delivering exceptional brand experiences that inspire movement and well-being. The company provides a holistic environment prioritizing physical and mental self-care, encouraging employees to continuously learn, explore, and innovate. At On, equality, inclusivity, and fairness shape recruitment and retention decisions, creating a positive workplace free from discrimination. The company invites individuals to contribute to an equitable future by optionally sharing demographic information for continuous improvement of hiring practices.
As the Head of Events, North America, you will be at the forefront of orchestrating and elevating the entire experiential events landscape across the region. This strategic leadership role requires you to craft a comprehensive event strategy that integrates seamlessly with On's global brand vision while also responding dynamically to regional commercial priorities. Reporting directly to the Head of Brand Experience, North America, you will lead a high-performing events team, nurturing a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and strategic foresight. You will manage the end-to-end execution of large-scale experiential initiatives that transform brand moments into impactful, measurable commercial engines across various channels.
Your responsibilities will include defining the annual event roadmap with clear integration across all channels, setting strategic priorities for the events budget, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact outcomes. Collaboration will be key in your role, partnering closely with global and regional teams to align frameworks, share best practices, and maintain a balance between global consistency and local relevance. You will harness your decision-making capabilities to navigate complex organizational structures, anticipate trends, mitigate roadblocks, and embed measurement frameworks that link experiential investments firmly to business results.
This role demands a leader with over nine years in event marketing or experiential strategy within premium, omnichannel retail contexts, complemented by at least four years in regional people leadership roles. Your adeptness at managing complex stakeholder networks, driving strategic decisions, and fostering team growth will be crucial in fulfilling On's mission to inspire and engage communities through impactful brand experiences. By joining On, you will be part of a company that not only champions innovation and athletic performance but also embraces a profound commitment to employee well-being, diversity, and inclusion.
