The company operates across diverse domains including feasibility and consulting, owner’s representation, sales, partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, venue management, as well as content and booking of world-class live events. Their commitment to excellence and deep expertise establishes them as a premier leader in the live entertainment industry.
In Stockton, California, Legends Global manages a variety of prominent venues including the Adventist Health Arena, Bob Hope Theatre, Oak Park Ice Rink, Stockton Downtown Marina, and the Stockton Ballpark. These venues form the heart of entertainment, sports, and recreation within the Stockton community. Each location offers a unique environment: Adventist Health Arena serves as a state-of-the-art destination for major concerts and sport events; Bob Hope Theatre provides a historic venue for performing arts and cultural heritage; Oak Park Ice Rink promotes ice sports through public skating and hockey leagues; Stockton Downtown Marina offers picturesque boating and dining experiences; and the Stockton Ballpark delivers thrilling baseball games and family entertainment.
The Marketing Manager role at Legends Global Stockton is a dynamic, revenue-focused position requiring strategic planning and execution across multiple lines of business within the arena division. Reporting directly to the venue Regional General Manager and maintaining strategic connectivity with the Legends Global Marketing Network, the Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in digital and traditional marketing, external communications, creative oversight, partner integration, and high-level project management. This position demands an innovative approach with a readiness to adapt to evolving technology and AI innovations that enhance marketing strategies.
Key responsibilities include overseeing touring event marketing by analyzing ticket sales metrics, collaborating with promoters, executing large-scale digital marketing campaigns, and leveraging CRM and data analytics to develop targeted campaigns aimed at increasing ticket sales and guest visitation. The Marketing Manager acts as a vital connector between various stakeholders such as venue sales teams, booking offices, and client administrators, ensuring cohesive marketing efforts and maximizing revenue opportunities, including through premium seating and private event campaigns.
In addition to event marketing, this role manages all in-venue digital and static assets, supervises social and digital marketing by maintaining the venue's content calendar, and optimizes web and social platforms to create a smooth purchase experience. The Marketing Manager also assumes responsibility for media relations and creative oversight, maintaining media partnerships, acting as a venue spokesperson, and directing creative content workflows based on bandwidth and revenue priorities.
Legends Global fosters an inclusive workplace environment where authenticity, impact, and career growth are prioritized. The company offers competitive compensation ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experience, coupled with a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401k plan. The position is located onsite at the Adventist Health Arena in Stockton, emphasizing a collaborative, hands-on approach to community engagement and entertainment marketing.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field and between 5 to 8 years of marketing experience, preferably within entertainment or venue marketing sectors. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills, a robust work ethic, proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, and a commitment to workplace safety. The role is designed for a creative leader eager to embrace marketing technology advancements and AI to elevate the venue’s marketing efforts to new heights. Legends Global champions diversity and is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer, encouraging women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans to apply.
