Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of five years experience in institutional food service
- One year leadership experience preferred
- California Food Handler Card from an ANSI accredited training provider required within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate standard kitchen equipment, tools, and some office equipment
- Ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and others
- Being a team player
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Completes all daily restock responsibilities
- Participates in all ongoing education activities
- Utilizes hospital supplies and equipment efficiently
- Demonstrates and ensures quality service and food safety practices
- Maintains equipment and work areas in a sanitary and orderly condition
- Completes all work responsibilities within specified time frames
- Completes required documentation
- Demonstrates flexibility during and between heavy workload periods
- Ensures all work in specific areas is completed by staff
- Provides leadership in the absence of a supervisor by ensuring adequate staffing and maintaining high-quality standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
