The role of Restaurant Supervisor at Kimpton Santo is critical in maintaining and elevating these high standards of hospitality. This position involves leading the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth service execution and exceptional guest experiences. The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all service activities, motivating and developing associates, and maintaining a hands-on approach during service to model excellence and attentiveness. They will implement and enforce the White Lodging Way training, certification materials, and scenography standards that guide the company’s commitment to service excellence.
As a leader within a high-volume restaurant environment, the Restaurant Supervisor is expected to manage scheduling, monitor dining room flow, and handle staffing in alignment with forecasted needs. They will conduct performance reviews and maintain accurate documentation, fostering accountability and continuous development among team members. Moreover, they will cultivate a team-oriented culture, encouraging collaboration, strong communication, and a shared commitment to hospitality.
The role requires outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills, proficiency with technology including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Micros POS systems, and the physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and navigate different work environments. A college degree is preferred, underscoring the importance of education alongside practical experience.

Job Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day restaurant operations ensuring all service standards are consistently met

- Monitor dining times seating rotations and shift capacities to ensure smooth operations
- Schedule and manage associates according to staffing guides and forecasts
- Maintain accurate associate documentation performance reviews and REX/RAP evaluations
- Promote teamwork accountability and a culture of hospitality through consistent communication and coaching
