Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent culinary education preferred
- minimum 5 years of experience as a head chef or senior culinary manager
- strong operational and financial acumen
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to relocate to San Francisco, CA
- eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in leadership roles within structured, high-volume fine dining establishments
- strong knowledge of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine or demonstrable passion for these culinary traditions
- expertise in operational management including food cost and labor control
- experience in developing SOPs and kitchen operational frameworks
- excellent leadership and team development skills
- ability to work under pressure while maintaining food quality and consistency
Job Duties
- Lead the culinary vision and daily operations of the kitchen
- manage food cost, labor, purchasing, and inventory control
- develop and maintain standard operating procedures and kitchen systems
- build, train, and motivate a high-performing kitchen team
- ensure consistency and quality in menu execution
- oversee compliance with health and safety regulations
- collaborate with management on strategic planning and menu development
