Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent culinary education preferred
  • minimum 5 years of experience as a head chef or senior culinary manager
  • strong operational and financial acumen
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to relocate to San Francisco, CA
  • eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in leadership roles within structured, high-volume fine dining establishments
  • strong knowledge of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine or demonstrable passion for these culinary traditions
  • expertise in operational management including food cost and labor control
  • experience in developing SOPs and kitchen operational frameworks
  • excellent leadership and team development skills
  • ability to work under pressure while maintaining food quality and consistency

Job Duties

  • Lead the culinary vision and daily operations of the kitchen
  • manage food cost, labor, purchasing, and inventory control
  • develop and maintain standard operating procedures and kitchen systems
  • build, train, and motivate a high-performing kitchen team
  • ensure consistency and quality in menu execution
  • oversee compliance with health and safety regulations
  • collaborate with management on strategic planning and menu development
