Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a chef or executive chef in a high-volume or upscale restaurant
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques preferred
  • Leadership skills with ability to train motivate and manage kitchen staff
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation standards
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
  • Flexibility to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a chef or executive chef in a high-volume or upscale restaurant

  • Understanding of food cost controls inventory systems and kitchen operations

  • Flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage all back-of-house operations including prep line execution and plating
  • Ensure consistency and quality of all menu items maintaining Vita Bella’s high standards
  • Oversee kitchen staff scheduling training and daily performance
  • Maintain a clean organized and fully compliant kitchen environment health and safety standards
  • Manage inventory ordering and vendor relationships to ensure product quality and availability
  • Control food costs minimize waste and maintain proper portioning
  • Collaborate with ownership on menu development seasonal features and specials
