Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a baker or pastry cook in a professional kitchen
- knowledge of laminated dough techniques and bread pastry production
- familiarity with baking methods and equipment
- ability to work early mornings starting at 4:00 AM
- strong attention to detail
- excellent time management skills
- ability to work under pressure
- strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a baker or pastry cook preferably in a professional kitchen
- strong knowledge of laminated dough techniques and bread pastry production
- familiarity with various baking methods and equipment
- ability to work early mornings starting around 4:00 AM with flexibility for additional hours as needed
- strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure

Job Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, breads, and laminated doughs including croissants, Danish, and puff pastry
- measure and mix ingredients accurately to create doughs and batters
- follow recipes and adjust based on seasonal ingredients and availability
- maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- monitor and manage baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality
- collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing products
- assist in inventory management including ordering and receiving supplies as needed
- maintain equipment and report any maintenance issues
