Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have the legal ability to work in the United States
- Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check
- Must obtain a City of Citrus Heights work permit
- No felony convictions
- No misdemeanor convictions involving theft, embezzlement, fraud, or moral turpitude
- Ability to comply with all state and local gambling regulations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Understanding of and commitment to safety regulations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in managing telephone reservations and guest inquiries
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
- Escort guests to appropriate tables and provide menus
- Check back with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction
- Assist servers to provide fast and courteous service
- Maintain communication with kitchen staff, management, and serving staff
- Answer telephone calls and manage dining reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and present the restaurant professionally
- Buss trays, dirty dishes, and flatware
- Remove dirty plates, silverware, and glasses after guests leave
- Re-set tables appropriately with fresh utensils, plates, and glasses
- Deliver food and drink orders in a timely manner
- Promote teamwork by assisting other team members
- Follow safe California Food Handlers guidelines
- Participate in daily safety training and report unsafe practices
- Enforce L.E.A.D. principles and alcohol consumption policies
- Report any individuals who appear underage, intoxicated, or pose a threat
