Legends Global stands as a premier partner to the world's most renowned live events, venues, and brands. Operating with a white-label approach, Legends Global offers a fully integrated solution of premium services designed to keep its clients front and center. Their extensive network spans over 450 venues worldwide, hosting approximately 20,000 events each year and entertaining 165 million guests. The company’s expertise covers every key component necessary for the success of world-class live events and venues, including feasibility studies, consulting, owner’s representation, sales, partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, venue management, and content booking.
The corporate culture at Legends Global fosters respect, ambitious thinking, collaboration, and bold action. The company is dedicated to building an inclusive work environment where authenticity, impact, and career growth flourish. The role available is for a Hawker within the Food and Beverage department, reporting directly to Concessions Managers. This is a non-exempt hourly position at the Grand Rapids Complex, which includes Van Andel Arena, Acrisure Amphitheater, and Amway Stadium. Hawkers play an essential role during live events, responsible for selling food and beverage items directly to guests by building Hawking locations. They operate under the supervision of the Vending Stand Lead, Supervisor, and Manager.
The position requires individuals to embody professionalism, from adhering to uniform standards and arriving on time to maintaining a positive, friendly demeanor that elevates guest experiences. Hawkers follow established procedures for restocking sales products from vending rooms, actively merchandise items by circulating among guests, and ensure transactions are handled accurately and courteously. They conclude each interaction with polite phrases such as "Thank You" or "Enjoy the Game," reinforcing a welcoming atmosphere. The role also includes verifying product counts on new loads, ensuring cleanliness and organization in the work area, and performing additional tasks assigned by management.
No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive orientation and on-the-job training are provided, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain a State Certified Alcohol Compliance Card specific to Michigan if applicable. The role demands flexibility, including working extended hours on late nights, weekends, and holidays due to business needs. Physical stamina is important, as the job involves walking up and down stairs and carrying weights up to 50 pounds. Hawkers must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure, and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
Being a Hawker at Legends Global means contributing to a dynamic live event environment that prioritizes exceptional guest service and operational excellence. The company welcomes diverse applicants and is a proud Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer, encouraging women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans to apply. This role offers the chance to be part of a globally recognized organization and a vibrant team that celebrates every achievement as a shared victory.
