As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing construction projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet all contractual requirements, stay within budget, and adhere to timelines. Your leadership will be crucial during the project kickoff, where you will set the tone and direction for successful execution. You will be responsible for closely monitoring the budget against actual expenditures on a weekly basis, approving subcontractor invoices, and managing overtime in alignment with company policies. Effective communication is essential, including formally notifying owners of any project delays and conducting detailed financial risk reviews. Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel) and Bluebeam is required to manage project documentation and reporting efficiently. You will also be expected to read and comprehend plans and specifications accurately and to motivate your construction team to achieve project goals.
