Job Description

Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Inc. is a reputable, family-owned Christian-based company known for being the largest franchisee of Hardee's restaurants in the United States. With a strong commitment to its people, the company focuses on using its resources to provide opportunities that positively influence the lives of employees and customers alike. Boddie-Noell Enterprises prides itself on fostering a caring and supportive work culture that emphasizes respect, development, and a team-oriented approach. This dedication to people has helped the company build a stable and loyal workforce, renowned for its longevity and satisfaction within the restaurant industry.

The company operates under the core belief that great leadership comes from working alongside team members rather than managing from a distance. Managers at Boddie-Noell do not simply oversee operations but actively engage with crew members to maintain high service standards, resolve guest complaints promptly, and ensure top-notch food quality and cleanliness throughout the restaurant. This hands-on approach facilitates more effective problem-solving and continuous learning on the job, creating a dynamic environment where employees feel valued and motivated.

Now, Boddie-Noell Enterprises is seeking an enthusiastic and exceptional Restaurant Manager at the Tidewater Drive location (2845) to join their outstanding team. This full-time position offers competitive compensation along with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid training, and opportunities for career advancement. As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth while upholding the highest operational standards. You will be responsible for hiring qualified staff, scheduling shifts to optimize guest flow, managing labor costs, and training and developing crew members. Your leadership will help create a harmonious and productive work atmosphere by providing coaching, counseling, and discipline when necessary. You will also be involved in inventory control to maintain food cost targets and in managing cash handling procedures to protect company assets.

The responsibilities extend to maintaining building and equipment standards using proper cleaning and preventive maintenance procedures, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and security policies, and representing Boddie-Noell Enterprises with professionalism and pride. The company offers a weekly pay schedule and a fun, flexible work environment to enhance your work-life balance. Employee benefits include 401K, vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, discounted meals during shifts, bonus programs, and a workplace culture focused on care and mutual support.

Boddie-Noell Enterprises also provides unique employee support systems such as the Helping Hands fund for financial aid in times of need and corporate chaplains who offer assistance in personal and professional challenges. The company embraces diversity and encourages veterans and individuals with military backgrounds to apply, reflecting its commitment to inclusivity and community support.

Overall, this position offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and leadership, who seek to grow their career in a supportive environment where they can make a daily positive impact on guests and team members. If you have strong communication and conflict resolution skills, a positive attitude, and a love for serving others, you are invited to become part of this amazing team and develop your skills while having fun and building meaningful relationships.
